L. Diamonds is originally from Syracuse, NY. She received her undergraduate
degree in Biopsychology from Russell Sage College and then her Doctorate
in Physical Therapy from The Sage Graduate School in 2006. After
graduating she worked in outpatient orthopedic clinic and then traveled
as a physical therapist for 3 years where she was introduced to
FOA Physical Therapy Department.
became interested in Vestibular therapy throughout her years of
practice and after receiving 2 concussions while playing collegiate
sports. She received her certification in Vestibular therapy in
2010 from the American Physical Therapy Association. She has been
working in outpatient and in-patient rehab for 10 years with her
focus in outpatient orthopedics focusing on sports medicine.
a former Division 3 Volleyball player at Russel Sage College she
can empathize with the pain her patients may be dealing with as
well as understanding their needs to get back to normal as soon
as possible. She enjoys helping others return to their previous
level of function including using a diverse array of manual techniques
to restore function in patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction.
